FF&E PURCHASE MANAGEMENT – LUXURY FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT HOTEL PALACIO SAMANEIGO 4*

In a previous post, we analyzed the importance of planning in FF&E purchasing management of a hotel project (from the acronym in English Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment).

Many aspects must be taken into account in the acquisition of furniture, accessories and equipment. The main thing is to plan purchases in the best possible way and check if the investment fits the needs and scope of the project. During the implementation of a hotel project, the purchase of furniture, equipment and accessories for the common areas and rooms has a direct influence; and sometimes significant, in the costs of the installation and in the execution schedule.

Recently, we have collaborated on an investment project of the Edmond de Rothschild group, which acquired a few years ago the Samaniego Palace, which has been operating as hotel equipment for many years. The 17th century building located in the Rioja Alavesa, is located where it is believed that the fourth defensive tower of the medieval town of Samaniego once stood. 

The assignment focuses on the FF&E and OS&E purchasing management  (Operating Supplies and Equipment: Operations supplies and equipment) for the new Hotel Palacio Samaniego 4*, managed by Samaniego Luxury Resort, SL

EME Concepts acts as the team Responsible for planning and managing FF&E and OS&E purchases together with the Vila Associats team in charge of the Project Manager of the comprehensive reform project.

In the process we have the collaboration of suppliers and industrialists from all over Europe, the most notable being Casamitjana with the supply of furniture from brands such as Santa& cole, Tribú, E15 or &Tradition, among other. We also collaborate with Pordamsa, manufacturers of designer tableware; or Gay House who constantly helped us with the search for the best solution for the kitchen equipment or room service. Brands luxury Sambonet, Laguiole, Frette or Christofele They completed the long list of suppliers with whom we successfully installed all the hotel's equipment.
