ENTRANCE AND LOBBY REFURBISHMENT – OASIS BACKPACKERS HOSTEL
Situated in Seville’s old town, this building – which has a listed façade – houses a hostel containing 210 beds and amenities, including a rooftop swimming pool.
The design, and consequently sales capacity, of the hostel had become obsolete, and the lobby required some work to attract a new public and increase the RevPAR. In addition to the out-of-date design, the lighting and furniture had to be adapted to better attend to the needs of the employees working in this space.
The main objective was to complete a low cost project that did not involve any extensive structural changes. The focus was rather on the design, and making changes to the colour palette, lighting and introducing new furniture to accommodate groups of visitors.
The reception was originally reddish and dark in colour. Over time, the lack of lighting had resulted in a disorganised and discouraging workspace. New colours, a new counter, Tres Tintas wallpaper and Dajor Iluminación lamps formed the basis of this refurbishment.
The new look and feel promotes a fresh experience for the visitor and the employee.
This can also be adapted for the website, and all services related to the promotion of the facilities.
